My interest in physiotherapy began at a young age after experiencing treatment myself, which sparked a lasting curiosity about how the body moves and heals. Having always been active, I was drawn to understanding injury prevention and recovery, which led me to study Sports Therapy. This provided a strong foundation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and highlighted my passion for helping people restore function and quality of life.
I later gained valuable experience working in a neurological physiotherapy clinic, where I worked closely with individuals recovering from and managing neurological conditions. This experience was incredible and something I thoroughly enjoyed. This motivated me to further my education in physiotherapy to develop further.
I am now completing my Master’s in Physiotherapy, currently in my first year and having recently finished my second placement. I am particularly interested in neurological rehabilitation and I look forward to developing my clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills as I progress toward a rewarding career in physiotherapy.
