Sam Peach

Sam, is a second year physiotherapy student at the university of Leicester and have a passion for rehabilitation especially post-neurological event. Being part of someone's journey back to functional activity is huge for me: after seeing my Granny recover from her stroke and seeing the impact her physiotherapists had, I was pushed to make the same kind of difference in someone else's life.

As a physiotherapist, especially in neurological, it is important to keep the patient at the centre of the treatment, ensuring appropriate and relevant goals are set and working together to achieve them to improve their quality of life.

Sam has a wider interest in human anatomy and enjoy learning about which parts of the body are affected by others, and am passionate about communicating this with patients so that they can understand the reasoning behind treatment too.

Alongside his physiotherapy interests, I am a keen sportsman, playing football, cricket and ultimate frisbee.
